Profile
Agonda is a beautiful unspoiled village where you can still watch the fishermen going out in their boats or catching fish at the end of the beach by hand when the tide comes in. Dolphins swim near to the beach or you can catch up with them on a boat trip. Turtles nest on the beach and cows chill in the afternoon. You can find monkeys at the far side of the beach shouting and singing in the trees. So if you are looking for slow pace – Agonda beach with its’ soft golden sand and nice waves is the perfect place to chill and unwind.
Sea star resort here is your comfortable beach adventure. We are located at the tranquil North end of Agonda beach.
We offer 16 comfortable beach huts in five different categories for your stay.
Our huts are all just a few steps from the Arabian sea and you can listen to music of waves in each of them.
We have built 6 beautiful spacious sea view huts – two at the very water front, two few steps deeper in our exotic garden, but also facing sea and two elevated ones with great sea view. They are made from natural high quality materials and designed to give you a feeling of tasteful luxury.
We also offer 9 garden huts – 7 double and 2 quadruple. They are more affordable, but very cosy and comfortable too. Quadruple huts are great for family or small group of friends.
You can laze around in one of our lounge cabanas, which give you privacy and separates from the entire world, where you can just stretch your legs and enjoy your book or a good company of your beloved ones.
As we are just a few steps from the sea and Goa is famous for 3 F’s – football, feni and fish, it is no surprise our restaurant specializes in sea food and fish dishes. We also serve feni – a local spirit made from cashew nuts or coconuts, but we warn you – it’s not to everyone’s taste.
Since we are a family friendly resort and Agonda is a turtle nesting beach, we play lounge music and only for a few hours starting with sunset.
If you get bored of simply sunbathing, enjoying our meals and drinks or reading books we are ready to share some inside details and hidden gems in and around Agonda with you. Massage, yoga or meditation, fishing or dolphin watching boat trip, visiting spice farm or Portuguese heritage in Goa, renting a scooter or Royal Enfield and driving around to enjoy Goan scenery, shopping or cooking classes – you name it. We are here to advice and arrange these and other incredible experiences for you.
And for those who cannot live without technologies, emails & news we provide a free Wi-Fi (it works most of the time).
Come to Sea star and be where you really belong and deserve to be – under blue skies and palm trees on golden sand just by the sea.
Namaste!
Yours,
Sea star team

Restaurant
We are big believers in quality food in our small and cosy Sea star restaurant. This way we can make sure that your meal is cooked just as you order and we know our meals so well that we can cook them even in darkness (this happens some time because of power cuts in Agonda).
To make your food experience at Sea star even more exclusive, every couple of weeks we create a special menu. We always include as many seasonal local products as we can in this menu.
As we are just a few steps from the sea and Goa is famous for 3 F’s – football, feni (local spirit) and fish; of course our restaurant specializes in a sea food and fish. Our cooks prepare only fresh fish from the local fishermen and the local fish market.
We grow vegetables and herbs in our own garden, so we can pick up fresh baby spinach leaves or basil just when you order your meal. We get cheese from local cheese maker and it is made using traditional methods – free from artificial or modified ingredients. We wash all products with mineral water before preparation, so you don‘t have to worry while enjoying fresh salad.
Sea star restaurant is surrounded with a garden of lush exotic plants. It gives you a gorgeous space not only to enjoy food or drinks, but also to laze around in one of our lounge cabanas, which give you privacy and separates from the entire world. Just stretch your legs there and enjoy your book or a good company of your beloved ones.
To make your candle light dinners even more special we carefully select music which we play along with sea sounds.
As Sea star is not a big restaurant, our waiters cater the most personal service. Don’t be surprised if in a couple of days they will not only remember your name, but also your favourite meals and drinks.
So if you fancy a delicious meal, a chilled drink, a friendly and helpful service in a beautifully arranged place – Sea star restaurant is where you should be.
