How Lar Amorosa came to be…
Lar Amorosa “loving home” is crafted out of an idea. The thought that went through my subconscious mind, about Goan Portuguese Architecture and how a chosen few would be delighted to experience firsthand staying in a heritage place with a little bit of luxury. Each room will remind you of the days gone by, but still stimulate you with all modern and plush amenities in its own charm & solitude.
We run Lar Amorosa with passion, and not as a business, and this is what you will see in gratitude and support you will receive from the staff working with us. We believe in hospitality, not only to our guest but the same love and passion is shown in taking care of our staff, who then indirectly show the same courtesy, love and respect to our in house guest, who instead turn into our lifelong friends and repeat guests.
Don’t choose Lar Amorosa if you are expecting a flashy commercial set-up. Don’t choose it because it is cheaper than other hotels. Choose it you are willing to be pampered with personal attention to your needs and choose it, if you believe in people and nostalgic memories.
We are in midst of the touristic attractions in North Goa, but still secluded to be away for the normal chaos from the beach, which is 4-5 km away. We have Museums, historical forts, Mall of Goa, water sports , clubs and restaurants between 2-10 km away. For a early morning walk, we have beautiful fields just a few block away, which I must say is the best seen during the wee hours of the day. Behind our property is a hill which will enthrall the enthusiast to venture around at their own risk.:-). We used to go up the woods when we were kids. Other necessities, like the supermarket and restaurant are 100 meters away.
