The Casa is an ode to their Granny Severina, after whom the place is christened. With Casa Severina, the Sequiera family has brought alive their granny’s dream of an inviting traditional home on beautiful land with many secrets to tell. This hacienda is designed to offer privacy and a sublime spirit reminiscent of an inspired Batkar’s mansion (Batkar – Portuguese word for landlord).

The magnificent classical elevation of the Hacienda is hidden from view until you are just there. Now you are greeted by a turnabout drive and teakwood stairways ascending to the main entrance under a terracotta tile-covered porch.
As one arrives, the inviting warm teak wood stairways lead you effortlessly onto the decorative double-height foyer resplendent with beautiful hand-painted frescos. Just when all you want is to close your eyes and absorb the beauty, a glimpse down into the courtyard steals your breath… an ethereal fish pond complete with majestic panther heads spouting water.
Upon arrival, you are greeted with timeless décor and staff that are personal and genial. Your stay at the Casa begins with a welcome beverage and cold towels at check-in, followed by familiarization with our guest rooms, amenities, and services. All the 19 rooms have balconies for lounging and star-gazing. At the Casa, you feel no lesser than the lord or lady of your own manor.

The luxury outdoor pool… when the warm breeze blows across the blue skies, you cannot but indulge in its tempting cool waters. A cozy breakfast den, the ‘el Patio’ is warm and inviting in hues of the earth and coral greens. Almost like the Tuscan countryside has been brought indoors… elegant wrought iron furniture, earthy brick décor, unusual artifacts, an antique telephone – just the place to savour your breakfast. These are comfortably furnished base category rooms and are also the only rooms in the Resort with a choice of double or twin beds. They are located separately from the main building and have an interconnecting door facility if required.

Check-in time and policies
- Check-in time: 1 pm (1300 hrs)
- Check out time: 11 am (1100 hrs)
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. An additional charge of 50% of the room rate paid will be applicable for late check-outs post 1100hrs and a 100% charge will be applicable post 1800hrs.
- All guaranteed early check-ins will require the room to be reserved from the previous night.
- All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of making the reservation by cash/ account transfer deposited in our account.
- For all deposits being made outside India, kindly contact the Resort for the specific deposit information before making the transaction.
Special terms & conditions may be applicable to certain promotions, promotional rates & blackout periods.
As per law, a PAN card must be furnished for cash payment of Rs 50,000/- and above.
In keeping with our heightened security procedures, we request you to carry a photo identity to present at check-in; it could be a passport, driving license, Voter card, or Aadhaar card.
Guests are liable to pay the cost of damages/breakages to the Resort property caused due to their negligence. The prices will be determined by the hotel & charged directly to guests.
No cancellations are allowed & no refunds will be made
- All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservations with a 50% advance payment by cash/ account transfer deposited in our account.

- At Casa Severina, a guaranteed reservation assures you of a room even if you check in late.
- All reservations require a deposit/ advance payment. Please check for full deposit requirements at the time of booking.
Other policies
- If you want to vacation at a retreat where you will not be disturbed by children, Casa Severina is the place for you.
- We request you not to smoke in your Rooms.
- Breakfast will be served in the resort multi cuisine restaurant called Gazebo
