KALI KA TIBBA, CHAIL
Situated at the top of a hill, Kali Ka Tibba is a popular must see place in Chail. The main deity of the temple is Kali Devi who attracts a lot of pilgrims and tourists from all across the world. You may enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Choor Chandni and Shivalik Range from the temple.Also popular as Kali Devi Temple, trekking to this temple is one of the main activities that can be relished over here. Tourists can enjoy getting the glance of some rare species of wild animals. Known for its pleasant sunset views, Kali Ka Tibba is an ideal spot for photoholics as they can capture the beautiful sceneries and moments while exploring the region.
GURUDWARA SAHIB
Chail Gurudwara is currently managed by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Being located in a small place, the Gurudwara sees very few devotees. However, local people, tourists and Military School cadets are the regular visitors to the Gurudwara. A Gurudwara Management Committee is officially formed with Georgian Association (Chandigarh) as a local contact, and is looking after the affairs of the Gurudwara. The Committee works in close co-operation with SGPC and Himachal Pradesh Government. MLA Ravi Thakur, a Georgian, is taking special interest in the Gurudwara Management. A sewadar (helper) is appointed on casual basis, 8 hours per day (170 rupees per day).
WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Chail Sanctuary is located at Chail, a hill station which is abode of wildlife. One can see sambar, goral and cheer pheasants at Blossom and Jhaja. Barking deer and kalijin are seen during dusk and dawn. The best time to visit is from March to October.It covers 110 km2. Chail Sanctuary has a vast forest cover. In 1976, Chail Wildlife Sanctuary was identified and it was declared as a protected area under government consideration. The cheer pheasant breeding and rehabilitation programme was launched in 1988. There is a dense cover of oak, pine and grassland.
STONED KUMBH SHIV TEMPLE
Focused on Goddess Chamunda, this asylum offers beguiling points of view of the Dhauladhar mountains, the Baner Khud which streams near to the haven, and the Pathian and Lahla forests. Orchestrated in Jadrangal town in Kangra range, the haven is arranged on the right bank of Baner Khad (Banganga), which is a tributary of Beas stream. The god adored here is the enraged image of Durga (Chamunda), which is considered so sacred that it is covered absolutely underneath a red fabric.
SIDH BABA KA MANDIR (TEMPLE), CHAIL
It is believed that Maharaja Bhupinder Singh wanted to build this temple next to his palace but Sidh Baba appeared in his dream and asked him to build it at the current site where he was building his palace previously. Built in 1891, Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is a place of holy soul and every traveler visits this temple to worship and take the blessings of Sidh Baba. It represents the importance of religion and honours the saint who was buried here. In brief, Sidh Baba ka Mnadir is a peaceful place for holy soul that symbolizes the value of religion.
CHAIL CRICKET GROUND
Chail Cricket Ground is a cricket ground located in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. The ground was established in 1893 but Bhupinder Singh Maharaja of Patiala who made Chail as his summer capital that time the ground was developed. The ground located at 2444 meters above sea level that make highest cricket ground in the world. The ground is surrounded by forest and is used as the school playground by Chail Military School. During school vacations it is also used for Polo. There is a well maintained Basketball court as well as there are goal posts for football.
